Rip Strip - Generation I

For many years the KMC Generation I Rip Strip has been the main stay in the Southeast for breaking the hard pan and preparing an in row seed zone for uniform seed planting and excellent soil to seed contact in a variety of tough conservation tillage conditions. Middles are left undisturbed, and row components are designed and positioned to run through tall standing grains or heavy crop residue without dragging.

Key Features 

• A spring loaded, Swivel Coulter effectively slices through crop residue virtually eliminating dragging on row components.
   

• Ripper Shanks available in shear bolt trip or Automatic Reset
   

• A complete line of Row Tillage Components (waffle coulters, press wheels, crumblers, and rubber tire rollers) is available to prepare the ideal seed bed in the many field conditions that can be experienced in a strip till environment
   

• Optional Row Cleaners that mount up front on a parallel linkage design to the trash cutting coulter clear a path for row tillage components to work in soil free of residue.
   

• Models are available on Rigid, 90 Degree Fold, or Stack Fold. Also models are available in various row patterns from 2 to 12 rows.
   

• A complete line of Accessories (Gauge Wheels, Planter Supporting Lift Assist Wheels, Planter attaching Reach Arms, Helper Wheels, Row Markers) is available to complete the unit for almost any field applications.
