The KMC Generation II Ripper Bedder is the ultimate tool for sub
soiling under the row and forming, uniform, peaked beds for row crops. The parallel linkage
connection between the front ripper tool bar and the rearward bedder tool bar, and the pneumatic
gauge wheels on the bedder tool bar, allow the disc gangs the flotation needed to form beds
on varying terrain that are consistent regardless of the operating depth of ripper shanks. |

Key Features

Rigid Tool Bars are the generation II style welded double frame construction,
7 x 4 x 3/8” hitch bar, 7 x 7 x 3/8 “ main tool bar, cat II, III, & IIIN.

Over-Center and Stack-Fold Tool Bars are the generation II style welded
double frame construction, 7 x 4 x 3/8” hitch bar, 7 x 7 x 3/8” main tool bar. 8
row are cat III & IIIN. 12 row are cat III & IV.

Ripper Shanks are the generation II style that mount on the tool bar diamond
and behind the tool bar. Shear bolt shanks are designed for easy shear bolt
replacement. Optional Reset on the Go Shanks are available.

Heavy-duty Parallel Linkages provide bedder bar flotation.

Rear bedder tool bar is 4 x 4”.

Disc Gangs feature 1 1/8” square axle, 18 & 20” concave disc, heavy cast hub
and spacers, and two long wearing sealed bearings. Four angle adjustment positions
are available in the hub for precise bed formation.

Bedder Bar Gauge Wheels are 8 x 10” pneumatic on greaseable roller bearing hubs on a 1-inch axle.

Disc Mounting Brackets are heavy-duty welded construction.

A complete line of Accessories (Gauge Wheels, Row Markers, Helper Wheels, Trash
Cutting Coulters, and Bed Shapers) is available to complete the Ripper Bedder according
to customer use and preference.
